About me
My name is Matthew Bell. I was raised in the small rural town of Carrollton, Missouri. After graduating high school I moved to Springfield, Missouri to attend Missouri State University, getting a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in art. Working as a freelance designer in my free time, I soaked up experiences and information like a sponge. Having a deep love for the holidays and design, I joined a team installing holiday decor in and around Branson, Missouri. That decision led me down an incredible path that solidified my love of turning dreams into reality. After moving to Chicago I joined Kehoe Designs as an event designer. The following year I moved into a lead designer role.

I have garnered the titles of, "jack of all trades, Energizer Bunny, and man behind the magic," because of my unique skill set. With over ten years of experience in the event and design industry I have learned the art of client management, the joy of exceeding client expectations, and the seamless management of projects large and small. In addition to logistics, I am a highly skilled floral designer and craftsman. From custom constructed escort walls, hand-painted to match the event's linen to a site specific floral installation that seems to defy the laws of gravity, I'm the man for the job.

As I mentioned before, I was raised in a small rural town. The small town values, close friends, and an amazing family have helped to make me the human being I am today. My mother and father taught me that hard work and determination have the power to get you anywhere you want to be. They taught my sister and I the difference between right and wrong and how to apply that to our daily lives. They worked tirelessly to provide for my sister and I. I am, and will forever be grateful for all they have, and continue to do, for our family.
My husband, Chayanne, and I enjoy listening to live music, going to the theatre, cooking from scratch, intimate gatherings with friends, nights out dancing, and spending time with our fur babies; Norris, a Boston terrier, Winston, a Boston terrier mix, and Stella-Marie, a rescue cat.
